![]() | | Dear Gayle,
You can make an HTML page to be used as a Contents page for your CD-ROM. This HTML page should contain the links to your quizzes included in the CD-ROM; you can easily do this with any HTMl editor (eg. Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, etc.).
Then you should create a text file (named autorun.inf) to be placed in the main folder (root) of your CD-ROM. See here for more information about creating your autorun.inf: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q172/0/78.asp
If your Contents page is named contents.htm, then your autorun.inf should contain the following lines:
[autorun] OPEN=CONTENTS.HTM

| | | I have ascertained from the help information that I can import questions pre-created as .txt file. Having created my .txt file I cannot find a way to import it in to my quiz.
|
| | | Dear Stuart,
Yes, you can import questions from .txt files.
If you have a .txt file in the required format (see the FAQ in the help for a description), then just open it in WebQuiz as you would do for any other .wbq quiz file. Instead of choosing a .wbq file (WebQuiz file), choose the .txt file and the program will import your questions.

| | | I recently purchases a pre-configured web site on your server for my quizzes. What are the limits for this site. How many students can assess a test? How many test can I post? etc...
I love webquizXP

| | | Dear Terry,
Currenly we have no particular limits on these accounts, provided that they are used for quizzes and tests only. We check daily each account and remove inappropriate content.

| | | To Whom It May Concern:
I am very impressed with your product after using the trial version. I believe it will suit my needs. Before I order, though, could you please answer these questions:
1. Very Important: Does WebQuiz XP generate any kind of score report for the teacher? I would like to have my students take the quizzes/tests online, then have their name and score reported to me in some kind of semi-secure way.
2. Is there any kind of security for the students so that they know that no one is compromising their identity/score on the quiz (passwords, etc.)?
Thank you for your answers to these questions. I appreciate your help and your product very much.

| | | Dear Richard,
1. Yes, WebQuiz XP allows you to store results into a database and/or send them by e-mail.
2. Yes, you can password-protect a test file with a single password, or define a list of valid usernames/passwords allowed to access the test file. Each username/password can be matched to a single student, so that you can be sure about test taker's identity.
Best regards,
